Jo designed our Daisy Watch and our Heart Watch along with a number of other of our exclusive items. It has taken just over six months for copies of the Daisy and Heart watches to appear. You will know if you have the genuine article and the 12 month guarantee that goes with it if it has GfN our trademark on the dial.

Jo started this business because she was unable to buy a single pair of scissors without either being charged a high postage and packing fee or having place a minimum order. Postage for a single pair of scissors is now 52p and on top of this there is the cost of the bubble-wrap envelope. Up to now we have charged £2.95 postage and packing on all orders under £20 which still make a pair of scissors or a tourniquet quite expensive so we have decide to reduce our postage and packing cost to 52p for all orders under £3.75. For orders between £3.76 and £50 we will charge £2.51 (Plus VAT at 17.5%) and postage will be free for all orders over £50.

When you pay by plastic for something that you have ordered from our site we have no access to the card details as in fact you leave our site when it come to payment. You are transferred to a secure "gateway" which is operated on behalf of the Banks and from there your details are validated. (Look for the closed padlock at the bottom of the screen when you give the card details to confirm that it is the secure site) When the payment is approved you are returned to the Goodies for Nurses site. As far as your address, email address and telephone numbers which we need to process and send your order these are password protected. This information is encrypted and backed up to a secure computer in America so the information will not be lost or tampered with. Jo and I take the protection of your personal information very seriously.

VAT.

Vat is back to to 17.5% on everything except Books whuich are still VAT free. Over the last year the value of the Pound against the Dollar and the Euro has fallen which has meant that many of the products we sell have cost more. We have tried to keep prices down where possible and have reduced some to compensate a bit for the increase in others.

Spam

We get over 250 spam emails every day. We have a spam-filter program which sorts the spam from genuine emails that have been sent to us. The program is very good but occasionally it will treat as spam an email which you might have sent us and which we then miss. We answer all emails within 24 (working) hours so if you do not get a quick response please telephone us on 01276 472151.

Because we dislike spam so much we do not send out any unsolicited emails to any of our customers.
